Content creator Mateo Monterrosa dreamed of making videos about his life, but he was born with a disability and never felt comfortable making content. All that changed on August 2020 when he decided to use TikTok as the modality to showcase his journey as a trans man going through the HRT program while figuring out everyday decisions, like choosing hairstyles, all while building a new community.
